Enterprise Backup & Recovery

Our enterprise backup solutions are designed to protect and safeguard all of your business critical data. This includes:

  • Company shared data
  • Individual user data (Desktop, documents and pictures)
  • Software data such as Sage and Quickbooks
  • Databases such as Exchange and SQL

Protecting against cyber threats

We put in place comprehensive backup systems that will protect your data against any type of cyber attack, including those attacks that aim to encrypt both your data and its associated backups (Crpytolocker for example).

Revision History

We back up multiple revisions of your data and this is customisable depending on your requirements. These revisions typically range from 7 days up to 12 months and mean that you can restore data going back as far as those revisions allow. This can be useful if data is deleted and this goes unnoticed for some time, and also for compliance purposes when it might be necessary to look at a document at a certain point in time.

Veeam Backup & Replication

We use Veeam Backup & Replication to take complete image snapshots of your system on a periodic basis (Typically every night). This allows for the entire system to be restored to full working order even in the event of total hardware failure.

It also serves as a great protection against viruses that aim to encrypt the entire system.

Backup Assist

We use Backup Assist, alongside Veeam, in order to take daily copies of data to an offsite storage medium which protects against any type of local disaster as well as more serious cyber attacks where local backups may be compromised.

Real-time backup and Business Continuity

For companies with complex operating requirements or those who cannot face any downtime we can design and implement bespoke backup solutions offering real-time backup and business continuity.

In cases where you cannot afford to have any downtime we can set up ongoing replication of your entire IT infrastructure to the cloud which means even in the event of a complete local disaster we can provide near immediate access to your system, via the cloud. This helps to avoid downtime for your business and allows you to continue operating as normal even in the worst case scenario.

Backup Assist

For most environments we recommend Backup Assist. This software offers a full range of backup options not only for standard data but also for enterprise applications including Microsoft Exchange, SQL and many others.

Backup assist supports local image backups, rotating backups, Bit-locker Encryption as well as offsite backups.

The software comes with lots of advanced options including the ability to store many versions of your data, archiving them off at set points in time and with support for RSYNC technology it is possible to store and transfer extremely large data sets with minimal space and bandwidth requirements.

Veeam Backup & Replication

Veeam backup & replication is ideal for virtualized environments. Veeam is widely considered to be the best in the market when it comes to backing up virtual machine data and with similar features to backup assist it helps to protect your data from every eventuality.

Veeam also offer advanced availability solutions and if required we can implement solutions with near zero downtime even in the event of disaster.

Livedrive Backup

Livedrive cloud backups are a great solution for decentralised computing environments where there are a number of endpoints that need to be backed up independently.

Livedrive is a great solution that has similar archiving capabilities but without the enterprise costs that are involved with similar solutions.

Livedrive also has the ability to act as a cloud storage facility allowing data to be shared throughout your company but without the need for a centralised data server.

This software is ideal for modern businesses where team mobility is crucial.
