If you are planning to dispose of old IT equipment certain considerations need to be made. Aside from the physical removal of IT equipment any data stored on devices such as computers and laptops need to be securely destroyed to prevent misuse.

This service is primarily used for hard drives that are stored in laptops, workstations and servers.

We use a program called Killdisk to securely erase all data present on the hard drive. This process involves writing data to every sector of the drive – both those that are in use and those located in free space areas of the drive. This process ensures that even data that has previously been deleted from the drive is securely over-written and thus unrecoverable.
